Step 1: Navigate to the Password Reset Page
Enter the URL for IgniteKit's password reset page: https://dashboard.ignitekit.com/forgot-password/. This link takes you directly to where you can initiate the password reset process.
Step 2: Input Your Email Address
On the reset page, locate the field labeled for your email address. Enter the email you use for your IgniteKit account. Pay close attention to ensure your email is correctly typed, avoiding errors that could misdirect the reset instructions.
Step 3: Initiate Password Reset
Click the button labeled "Reset". This action prompts IgniteKit to send a password reset email to the address you provided.
Step 4: Check Your Email
Open your email client and check your inbox for an email from IgniteKit. If it's not immediately visible, wait a few minutes as it can sometimes take a short while to arrive. Remember to check your spam or junk folder too, just in case.
Step 5: Set Your New Password
Click the link or button in the email to go to the password creation page. Here, enter your new password. Make sure it complies with IgniteKit's password criteria, such as minimum length, and the inclusion of both alphabetic and numeric or special characters.
Step 6: Confirm Your New Password
For accuracy, re-enter your new password in the provided confirmation field. This step ensures you haven't made any typos.
Step 7: Finalize the Reset
After confirming, click the "Save" or "Confirm" button to finalize your new password. You will receive a confirmation message indicating a successful password reset.
Step 8: Log In with Your New Password
Return to the IgniteKit login page and try logging in with your newly created password. This verifies that the reset process was successful and your account is secure.
